CONNECT was established to meet the networking needs of businesswomen in Kelowna, British Columbia. Networking is an extremely important means of advertising for small business enterprises everywhere which enables them to promote themselves and their business and to encourage referrals from others. Our present members represent several different industries, such as real estate, mortgage brokerage, accountancy, financial planning and web design. We continually encourage women from every kind of business, from large companies to small entrepreneurial efforts, to join us for coffee every Thursday morning for networking and a short meeting.
We also support local charities whenever possible. In 2004, we held an "Elvis Night" fundraiser and silent auction and were able to give approximately $6,000 to the Kelowna Women's Shelter. |
| CONNECT goes one step further than most of the other networking groups available in our area. We offer an "exclusive" membership, meaning that only one representative of each type of business can join, thus avoiding competition within the membership. |
|
CONNECT was established to support and assist women in business, specifically our sister members in CONNECT by actively referring clients to one another whenever possible. We are actively seeking to expand our group to include several different types of business which are not yet represented. |

The CONNECT Networking group meets for approximately one hour every Thursday morning beginning at 8:00am at the Edward Jones office at 2618 Pandosy St. in Lower Mission. We do not offer breakfast, only a wonderful networking group and the possiblity of lucrative business relationships. |
